missing things.

There are little things I miss from America. Little things that I totally forgot about until I saw them at a Chinese Grocery Store (weird, huh?). like Peanut Butter M&Ms, Butterfingers (my favourite!) , and Dr. Pepper. I was sooo excited, but only forked over the cash for the PB M&Ms. The sounded amazing at the time. But man, have I been thinking about Dr Pepper in the mean time. Luckily today, I ran across this lovely little story. I'm glad I didn't fork over the cash for a dr pepper, because I could get one for FREE! Dr. Pepper is saying they will give everyone in America a free Dr Pepper if Axl Rose releases his 17-years-in-the-making album, "Chinese Democracy." Awesome! Things like this make me proud to be an american.

Australian Ganglife

This is a picture of some graffiti I see almost everyday walking home from work. It appears every few days, is soon washed off, and reappears the next day or so. I've seen this tag in other parts of the city as well. TWB, presumably stands for the name of this gang or clique - "The Wild Bunch" , which is sometimes written next to "TWB". Only once did it say "Those With Balls", which would be a much better gang name, and much less reminiscent of the brady bunch.


But my point is this, Australian Gangs: if you're going to do graffiti, step it up a notch. I'm not one to talk - I mean, my bubble letters haven't been in peak condition since i was twelve. but when my bubble letters were in peak condition, they were WAY better. please, for the sake of those who have to see this everyday, and for the sake of "the Wild Bunch", step it up a notch.

This, my friends, is a hair straightener vending machine found in a bathroom of a backpackers bar in Sydney. truly brilliant.
